Meet Trey Wall

Born and raised in Georgia, Trey developed a passion for the outdoors early. Whether it was catching bluegill off a dock, chasing deer in the woods, or building a stick fort, it was never enough time outside. His first introduction to fly fishing came when he moved to the Appalachian Mountains of North Georgia to attend Young Harris College.

Trey quickly fell in love with the art of fly fishing — it became routine to find him on a river rather than in class. Wanting to take it further, he attended Vail Valley Anglers guide school in Edwards, Colorado in 2017.

With those skills, Trey began guiding one of the top trout streams in North Georgia through the rest of college. He later spent time in the business world as a New Home Specialist for a custom home builder near Asheville, helping grow the company into one of the city’s largest builders — but every chance he got, he was chasing trout up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Eventually Trey made guiding his full-time career, and today he calls the North Georgia mountains home. When he isn’t on the water, you’ll probably find him playing guitar or working on a weird wine recipe.
